Homework has an important role in pupils' progress across all subjects in the curriculum as it helps to re-enforce learning that has taken place in the classroom and prepare pupils for the next lesson.
In order to support pupils with this expectation, all homework tasks are published on Google Classroom. This will include instructions on how to complete the task, additional resources and links and the deadline by which the task is expected to be completed. The deadline will never be less than 48 hours. If pupils do not meet the deadline without an acceptable reason, they will be issued with a Homework Detention. Further information on how to access Google Classroom is available here.
Homework is set on the days specified on the Homework Timetable in order to ensure that the work load is spread as evenly as possible across the week. Copies of the year group homework timetables are available below to download and view.
