Wider Curriculum Offer
In addition to the A Level and Vocational Courses on offer at sixth form, Wimbledon College offers a wide range of non qualification activities which are designed to challenge and develop individuals and support their progression to their future career plans.
PSHE Programme
The PSHE programme at sixth form builds on prior learning at KS3 and KS4 building on four key themes; Relationships and Sex Education, Citizenship, Health and Wellbeing and Future Decisions. Whilst structured there is flexibility to adapt to student needs.
Work Experience
All Year 12 students are expected to go on one week of work experience at the end of the academic year in July.
Parents and students will be invited to an information evening in January to find out more.
Any student who cannot find work experience will be supported in school with careers sessions.

Oxbridge and Medics Support
Oxbridge Applications
Students who have strong GCSE grades and are interested in applying to Oxford or Cambridge are supported throughout Year 12 and Year 13 to make a competitive application. In the 2021-22 cohort, 5 students were offered a place.

Careers in the Health Industry
We not only support students to make a competitive application to Medicine, but we also support students to consider a wider range fo jobs within the health industry. Support begins in Year 12 considering how to boost your understanding of the application process and how you can support your application with relevant taster days and work experience.
