Admissions 2025

In September 2025, Wimbledon College will admit 199 boys to Figures (Year 7) without regard for aptitude or ability. The places will be offered according to the criteria set out in the 2025 Admissions Policy

This year's Open Evening will take place on Thursday 26th September 2024 from 5.30pm to 8.00pm. For further information please click here

We will also have open mornings for current year 6 pupils only on Monday 30th September, 1st October and 2nd October at 9h00 sharp.  Click on Open Events to click on the link and book.  Bookings will go live by the end of next week.

How to apply for a place at Wimbledon College starting Year 7 September 2025

Complete and submit the Wimbledon College Supplementary Information Form via Applicaa 
1.  Register on Applicaa:  click  here
2.  You will then click on Parent Register.  After registering you will receive a verification email from Applicaa (if you have not received your verification email within 24 hours, check your junk mail and/or email paola.cray@wimbledoncollege.org.uk) 
3.  Click on the link to confirm your email address.   Once your email has been validated, you can start your child's application.  Please note you will need to log in as a registered parent.
4.  Admissions criteria 1 to 7 will require documents to support your application.  These are to be uploaded (preferably saved as a PDF document) when prompted for example, your child's baptism certificate, our Certificate of Catholic Practice Form completed, stamped and signed by your current parish priest (this form is for practising Catholic applicants only).   The Certificate of Catholic Practice Form is available to download below.  Please ensure you use the correct form which has the Archdiocese of Southwark thereon.
Members of other faiths will require evidence of membership on headed paper provided by a minister or priest of their designated place of worship.
5.  Submit the Supplementary Information Form and upload required documents by 31st October 2024 via Applicaa.
6. Name Wimbledon College as one of your preferences on your Common Application Form and submit this to your local authority by Thursday 31st October 2024.

Application Deadline and Offers of Places

The deadline for Y7 Applications for admission in September 2025 is 31st October 2024.  You must submit both the Common Application Form (CAF) to your Local Authority and the Wimbledon College Supplementary Form (SIF) to Wimbledon College via Applicaa by this date.  

Your Local Authority will write to you on 3rd March 2025, indicating the school highest on your list which is able to offer you a place.  We will also email you confirming whether or not we were able to offer a place. You must accept or reject the offer by 17th March 2025.   If offers have not been accepted by this date, you will be contacted by your local authority and our Admissions Officer to confirm what your intentions are.

We will write to all applicants whom we have not been able to offer a place and indicate where they stand on the waiting list.  The waiting list is updated regularly.  After 31 December,  parents who wish their child's name to remain on the waiting list must inform the Admissions Officer in writing (address below) or by email.

Applications for admission to other years (Yr 8 to Yr11, and current Yr 7) may be made at any time using the 2024 Supplementary Information Form. You must also apply to Merton Council Admissions Dept by completing the In Year Application form (both forms available below)
