The audience crept through the mysterious doorway of Pop Becker's Book Emporium and were transported into another world: 1920's Prohibition gang-ridden New York, where they were warmly welcomed to be part of Fat Sam's Grand Slam, "the liveliest joint in town", and without a doubt, the ONLY place to be in mid-December this year. "Anybody who is anybody will soon walk through that door", sang the cast of boys from Figures to Grammar, showing just how amazing they are at singing, dancing, and acting as they whirled the audience through the fast-paced action of the play, never stopping for a moment, bright, talented and totally together in their story-telling.
