Congratulations to the Mathematicians in Figures and Rudiments who entered this years UKMT Intermediate Maths Challenge on Thursday 26th April.  A big congratulations must go to Jaime Medrano (Y8) who was one of about 1200 students nationally who has been selected to complete in the Junior Mathematics Olympiad. Special mention must also go to William Davies and Jonathan Millar (Y8) who were also selected for the Kangaroo paper. Both competitions will take place on Tuesday 12th June. We wish them the best of luck.

The top 40% of students nationally receive a Gold, Silver or Bronze certificate in the ratio 1:2:3.  Jaime, William, Jonathan, Tonny Andinomunoz, Sean Cannell and Conor Byrne (Y8) were each awarded Gold certificates. There were also 28 Silver and 53 Bronze certificates awarded.
