As part of the celebrations for their 125th anniversaries, the College and the Ursuline High School came together in a joint production of EVITA
The famous musical by Lloyd-Webber and Rice was directed by Simon Potter and Ifor Thomas (WC) and Michael Lord and Paul Williams (UHS). The show was put on at the outside venue of Epsom Playhouse on March 23rd and 24th and drew large audiences, especially on the last night, when a standing ovation paid tribute to the cast, orchestra and technical team. Sophie Yohannes as Evita, Matthew Lockley as Peron, and Stephan Birahinduka, Liam Giuffrida, and Jacob Thompson as Che 1,2 & 3 were particularly outstanding.
